Just because you haven't been called out before now doesn't mean that you aren't being racist and whatever non-romani you took inspiration from to use it wasn't being racist. Gypsy is a racist slur when used as a racist slur or in ignorance, I didn’t use the name because I thought “hey gypsy that sounds cool” like I said the term has it’s own meaning and it has nothing to do with stereotypes or racism, it is a musical genre. Gypsy punk was not taken from a non romani, you need to look it up before you go on a bullshit rant. Furthermore, you yourself are an ignorant individual “little white brat”? that’s kind of interesting since you can’t act a color, and since I’m not white. I can assure you Ive dealt with my share of racism, and I am well aware of what it looks like. I would never use a picture of a fortune teller or bullshit like that and say “hey look at this gypsy stuff”, nor have I ever used the term out of context, it has always been in reference to the music genre and for my love of Gogol Bordello and Eugene Hutz. If you are so hell bent on being offended, then that’s on you. At the end of the day, the only thing you can control is how you react to something, you clearly need to work on that…Oh and if your going to accuse someone of being racist, maybe you shouldn’t counter the argument with racism, it makes you look asinine.
